Demand an apology from McCain
The Republican Party has reached a new level of sleaziness, unseen even by veteran political reporters. On Monday, the Chairman of the Republican Party of Pennsylvania, Robert A. Gleason, Jr., sent a news release to media across the state headlined “PAGOP: OBAMA - A TERRORIST’S BEST FRIEND.”
Will Bunch, a columnist with the Philadelphia Daily News, said “I've been writing about political campaigns for more than a quarter-century now, and it really takes a lot to surprise me, but I am absolutely stunned at the depths that the Republican Party is willing to sink to try in win this election.” http://www.philly.com/philly/blogs/attytood/30547939.html
We agree. This shows real desperation from the Republicans and the McCain campaign.
But more important, this shows who really lacks character. The issue of Senator Obama’s relationship to 1970’s radical Bill Ayers has been scrutinized by news organizations of every political stripe. All have concluded that there has never been a substantial relationship between Obama and Ayers. However, facts are unnecessary for the PA GOP when spreading sleaze.
If you’re tired of the lies and sleaze, click here to tell John McCain to apologize and stop his party’s desperate and despicable descent to what the Will Bunch calls “truly a rock bottom moment in American politics.”

The McCain campaign is going too far. The election will come and go, and someone will be selected as President. Then, the real work begins. People are going to need to be engaged and involved to solve the problems we face as a nation.
There is enough hatred without adding to it to try desperately to win a campaign. Despicable.

The problem with the right is the name calling. We've got real adult problems that require real adult decisions. The Rebubs are laying out plenty reasons to not vote for Obama, but they aren't giving us any real reasons to vote for McCain. The irony here-- and I'd bet money on it-- is that you don't realize that by voting for McCain you are voting against your own best interests: For those who don't know, the origin of right and left comes from the British. In parliament, those that represented the affluent and propertied classes were on the right; those that represented the working class were on the left.
Instead of so vehemently questioning the integrity of Obama, you should stop to consider the integrity and intention of your sources.
When all the leading terrorists in the world endorse Obama for President, I'd say that's a pretty good indication that he is indeed "A Terrorist's Best Friend".

Lol, it would seem that McCain does gladly suffer fools. Why is it that those who are so quick to label Obama as a terrorist, ignore McCain’s strong association w/ G. Gordon Liddy (sp – sry, quickly typing this) – as recently as last May, McCain’s fairly strong association w/ Acorn as of 2006), McCain’s extremely strong association (friendship, co-beneficial relationship) w/ Keating (sp?). While at it, how can McCain supporters claim any (ANY) moral position when McCain has a well documented history of unsavory behavior (adultery while his wife was sick w/ cancer, inability to keep his pants up, etc.)?
I’m very well educated (that alone seems to separate me from the McCain supporters) and have always tried to be an independent voter. What convinced me to vote for Obama wasn’t so much his comments or statements but rather the misinformation (untruthfulness) of the McCain campaign.
BTW, you do know that Acorn is required by law to turn in every registration it receives, even if said registration is believed to be fraudulent. Also, they pre-sort the registrations into 3 (or more) piles – believed confirmed, unconfirmed, likely fraudulent – they (acorn) themselves indicated the troubling registrations. Finally, there is no confirmed correlation between fraudulent registration and fraudulent voting. This is especially point worthy since states require some form of further voter identification (proof) before voting (many have voter ID requirements while at a minimum, there is address verification with signature).
However, Acorn is a virtually defenseless entity (understand the laws that govern such an organization’s existence) making it the perfect victim for the Republican Party to further poison our democracy with.
Please forgive all grammar and spelling errors, I often type w/o spell checking
